Accept, I like Keldon a lot irl, however I’m of the belief that 1-15 at least in the draft offer higher upside, and even if I end up dealing the pick a top 10 lottery pick is a better asset, which could potentially be paired to acquire an additional star.

This is still illegal.

Because Memphis qualified for the playoffs, they cannot resume trading until salaries progress in the offseason. That means that any trade Memphis makes needs to be using next years salaries.

Bryn Forbes has a team option and therefore cannot be traded using next years salaries, at least until the option is picked up.

The trade can stand if the salaries are next season's. Memphis being a playoff team cannot trade, or must have their trades queued, until after salaries progress to next year.

I think this is a terrible trade for Memphis. Very low odds you get someone as good as Keldon out of that pick. The Grizzlies will be okay either way though, so I accept.

I will accept. Maybe I'm a little lower on Keldon but I actually think you could get someone close on value around there. AND, the long-term / cheap contract helps, different from other core pieces for Memphis.
