Fools. Can you please show an evidence that I ever changed picks in the history of D5. Ian NobleI totally agree with this. I don't recall this happening. If it has, there should be some evidence, like an edited post in a draft thread, something like that. I don't understand how this could possibly be allowed without precedent. If there is precedent, it should be amended so this is the last time.

However, Ian was going to allow him to change the pick if it was done before the draft finished. Hana wanted to get unlimited time to make his selection for 60 😂

So when you asked this question I thought you meant you were going to change your pick immediately because you had a quick change of heart. I didn't think you meant: "I'm going to sit on this decision and take even longer than I've already had". So no, you can't change your picks now. The draft is over - which answers Walt Frazier's question above also.

Scal's pick change can stand. If we want to change that rule let's discuss elsewhere. Where is the rule that states that we can change pick? Don't you know? It's been under your nose all this time... but you were too afraid to see it. /sarcasm I could definitely find instances of when it happened in past D5 rookie drafts but that would take some time. It's not a written rule. If you want a written rule we can add one, I'm happy to do that, but Scal's pick change can stand.

It never happened for a pick that was made by the GM of that team. I will stand to be corrected and will not post in D5 for a year if there is even a single instance in the entire history of D5 that a GM who made choice for a pick of his team, was allowed to change his pick and a change in pick was registered.

Accidentally just deleted my reply but the following rule was posted on every Draft thread in D5 history up until last year: You may change the player that was picked for you at a later time in the draft, but only if the player you'd rather pick has not been taken by other teams. edit: ignore this, I read it wrong

I don't have a dog in this fight & I do think GMs are ganging up on Hana who is doing absolutely nothing wrong...
But the rule does say "picked for you" implying that you did not make the selection/auto-pick

Ahh yeah my bad, I guess that rule only applied when somebody had their pick made for them...

The Pelicans revise the 46th pick in the 2023 D5 draft to Jalen Pickett, guard from Penn State Can we do the right thing and do not allow this then?

The pick stands. Stop asking. If you want a rule change let's do that in another discussion and get it done for next year's draft since this one would be over by now if you just hurried up.
Make your pick!

The pick stands. Stop asking. If you want a rule change let's do that in another discussion and get it done for next year's draft since this one would be over by now if you just hurried up. Make your pick! But it’s not actually a rule that you can change your pick right? The rule says you can change the player that was “picked for you” which implies changing an auto pick. I don’t think we’ve ever in the history of D5 allowed a GM to change a player he picked himself. Scal is saying there’s precedent to doing this, but there’s not. The pick should really be reversed and Scal should be given the original player he picked. We then need to restart the draft from Hana’s pick IMO.

The fools are looking like fools creating their own narrative. Show me any of my post that implies that I want to pick Pickett. Fools. How about, instead of just stalking the conversation like a trench coat goober with thick lens glasses, you actively engage in it and express why the change to Pickett was an issue? You’re not gonna fool folks into thinking this is some kind of principled stand — you waited cause you wanted to see some games, Pickett was the highest drafted player left and if you truly wanted him, you shouldn’t have dicked around while on the clock.
