i know i know he is already 98 overall but i think the way he plays the game i think he would be the greatest of all time, someday. but first i think some of his rating are a bit low. i saw his block stat which is 45, i think it's a little bit low for a player who is averaging 1 block per ball game and chasing down easy layups and dunks i think it should be like 65 or higher and also i wanna address his rebounding stats offensive reb rating: 18 suggested rating: 45 defensive reb rating: 68 suggested ratings: 78 that is a bit low for a guy who's averaging 8.1rbs per ballgame. and also his steals per ball game is a little bit low for a guy who's averaging 2 steals per ball game. steal rating: 72 suggested rating:80 i know some of you hates him, but i really think he deserves a 99 rating.

I think he is the greatest of all times right now and want my 100 rating averaged into the equation.

Honestly I think Lebron's Top 10 all time, I don't see why he can't be a 99, he's in his prime right now.
I remember on NBA Live '96, Michael Jordan was rated 96, which was when Jordan was in his prime too, but I don't think that should be a barometer of anything we do.
Useless note: In NBA Live '95 the best player was Shawn Kemp, lol.

Lebron gets a 99 from me. He definitely deserves a max rating. He's obviously the best player in the game right now and he'll probably end up top 5 all time.

Max it out. Some of those ratings (the rebound ones) are still low after the suggested hikes. He's a maniac, a beast, and definitely should be maxed out.

I give it to Lebron thats he is a great player, and that he is going to be top 5 at the end of his career....but I wouldnt give him anything higher than Jordan ever had. To me Jordan was the best ever during my generation at least. To give Lebron higher is sick. The ONLY reason Lebron won a ring is because of Wade and Bosh being on his team. And yes they did and do have a nice bench as well as many of you say they dont. When Lebron, Wade and Bosh win 3 in a row...then Ill accept Lebrons rating being higher than Jordans...until then its bullshit....

Jordan had a 96 rating in an 18 year old game that Ian played so Lebron should never have a higher rating than that? The games wouldn't even have had the same rating categories. It's so irrelevant to what we're doing right now.

RealGM's Top 100 All Time1) Michael Jordan 2) Bill Russell 3) Kareem Abdul-Jabbar 4) Magic Johnson 5) Wilt Chamberlain 6) Larry Bird 7) Shaquille O'Neal 8) Tim Duncan 9) Hakeem Olajuwon 10) Kobe Bryant 11) Julius Erving 12) Karl Malone 13) Kevin Garnett 14) Oscar Robertson 15) Jerry West 16) Moses Malone 17) Dirk Nowitzki 18) LeBron James 19) Bob Pettit 20) Charles Barkley
Lebron's currently at 18 anyway. It's hard to choose between any of the Top 10, they could all be interchangeable in my opinion (altho Jordan is #1 always), but as a worst case scenario Lebron should at least be Top 15 before retiring imho.

I disagree...he played2 injured teams to make it against the Pistons in the Conf Finals before being swept in the Finals... Other than last year his teams have not done enough to prove anything to me... If he would have stayed in Cleveland they would not have made it to the ECF again...

It's only a fair comparison if you are saying that Cavs team would have won 6 championships if you replaced Lebron with Jordan. Otherwise what Jordan and the Bulls did isn't really relevant. Even if that is what you're saying, it's a comparison that is way too hypothetical to mean anything.

Personally, my problem with LeBron getting a 99 is that is he really that much better than everyone else right now?
Russel Westbrook - 90 Chris Paul - 91 Dirk Nowitzki - 90 Kobe Bryant - 93 Dwyane Wade - 96 Dwight Howard - 92 Derrick Rose - 93 Kevin Durant - 94 Deron Williams - 90
This is everyone we have that's above 90. And I do believe we have discussed Wade to be lower somewhere.
Frankly, I already had issues with LeBron being 98, even more so now that we're talking 99. again, I'd just really like to ask, is he that much better than everyone else that he deserves a 5 point gap from the next player?
*Fully aware that Wade is a 96 right now. Adamant however that he does not deserve that rating.

Deron Williams is not a 90, that's for sure. Paul should be a little bit better and Nowitzki should drop a little.

Adamant however that he does not deserve that rating. I agree Danny....if Lebron goes up....we gotta start dropping alot of players ratings too....(wade, etc.) this whole rating thing is out of hand... There needs to be a system.... I dont care who comes up with something thats fair and that works....but if you guys are giving increases then we need to decrease alot of players too... These 3 are the best in the game right now...at least to me... there should be no gap in their ratings but maybe by 2 pts... Kobe: 2012-13 Season PPG 27.4 APG 5.8 RPG 5.5 PER 23.50 Lebron: 2012-13 Season PPG 26.5 APG 7.1 RPG 8.1 PER 31.01 Durant: 2012-13 Season PPG 28.4 APG 4.7 RPG 7.9 PER 28.56 I say Lebron stays @ 98 Durant goes to 96 and Kobe goes to 94

I think Durant should be a 97. He's obviously the second best player in the league and he's the best offensive player since Jordan, and I honestly believe he could end up being the greatest offensive player in history. He's better than Lebron now, better than Kobe in his prime. For a guy to be averaging 50/40/90 while being used at such a high volume is unbelievable. The only other guy to do it at such a high level was Larry Bird.

No one could lead that Cavs team to the Finals aside from LeBron, not because he is better than certain players but because the team was built to help mask his weaknesses. That team succeeded like they did because it was filled with the style of players that meshed well with LeBrons style.
