Yeah the DeMar thread was March 10th, so basically the end of the season and I don't think anyone can reasonably argue DeMar and Jimmy had similar regular seasons. A moot point. Counting stats the same. Don’t care for advanced stats. Really not the point though. Jerry doing what he does best though, diverting. Thread has nothing to do with DeMar. Lol counting stats not the same at all though. Jimmy played 3 less mpg than DeMar, and had more rebounds and assists, less turnovers, nearly double the steals, and much more efficient shooting - 65 TS% to DeMar's 59 TS%. And no, TS% is not an advanced stat lol. Shot better from the field and from three. |

You said they were playing similarly, then you hand-waved away advanced stats, now you're hand-waving away anything outside of points/assists/rebounds. How far are we gonna go with this? Kevin Porter Jr averaged about 20/5/5. So he was playing similarly to DeMar and Jimmy. |
