Spurs trade: 92 Anthony Davis $43,279,250 (2022-23); $46,525,194 (2023-24); $49,771,138 (PO)(2024-25) 77 Herb Jones $785,924 (2022-23); $962,259 (TO) (2023-24) Total Outgoing: $44,065,174 Trade Percentage: 106% MEM new total salary: $184,388,732 (about $1MM under the hard cap line, and therefore compliant with trade rules) Grizzlies trade: 87 Bam Adebayo $30,913, 750 (2022-23); $33,232,281 (2023-24); $35,550,813 (2024-25); $37,869,344 (2025-26); $40,187,875 (PO) (2026-27) 68 LaMarcus Aldridge $1,017,781 (2022-23) 80 Seth Curry $8,000,000 (2022-23) 71 Jordan Nwora $1,500,000 (2022-23); $2,000,000 (TO) (2023-24) Total Outgoing: $41,431,531 Trade Percentage: 94% I accept. Between this trade and the Poetl one, I have now remade my frontline into a Bam-Aldama pairing which, at 25 and 22 years old respectively, aligns much better timeline wise with Luka who is 23 and Sexton who is 24. I can now bide time on the older D5 superpowers with (arguably) the best under 25 duo in the League in Luka and Bam while maintaining my draft pick control through 2025. In short, a small step back given I am forking over a top 10 player in AD when he's healthy -- and Monty Williams's MEM side now boasting a frontline of AD, Kawhi, and Rudy Gobert for a title run -- and Herb Jones, who, like SGA, I drafted and promoted with reckless abandon and annoyance to the D5 Discord and site. But at the end of the day, it is about recognizing when to take a slight step back now to hopefully take a giant one forward in the future. Ian Noble, Nwora and LMA will also be tossed on the FA funeral pyre if this deal goes through.

Accept, definitely risky as AD can opt out in his 3rd year, and he’s been a bit injury prone, however coming into this year, he was as healthy as he’s been in years, and it reflected in his play. He was an mvp/dpoy candidate before the foot injury, so hopefully he can get back on track. I have a championship window, and want to maximize my opportunity to potentially win. Herb Jones is also a nice young asset to acquire, and only further improves our team/defense. Outside of my stars, Keldon, and Herb can be potential building blocks for me going forward.

I accept. Huge trade boys! I do like this more long-term for the Spurs. Luca and Bam together is wild to think about and for the long term. Adding AD to Kawhi and Gobert is a solid core which would be NBA finals or bust but also risky since they are always injured.

Just noticed but Monty Williams you need to sign a player, this trade should not have passed until you got your roster with a minimum of 12 players.
