Current rating: 73 Suggested rating: 78
Stats: 11.9ppg, 11.2rpg, 1.9apg, 1.2bpg, 0.7spg
He has a pretty similar story as Omer Asik. He was buried in Philly for his rookie year, while Asik was buried in Chicago for his first two years. He gets his chance to breakout and he puts up 12, 11 and 1 block while Asik gets his chance and puts up 10, 11 and 1 block. He is 22 and Asik is 26. Everything about him is slightly better than Asik and everyone agreed to give him a 78 so Vucevic deserves at least that as well. Simple as that imo.

I'd be hesitant to give him that big of an increase. It's only been half a season just about and he's playing on a team with very little talent as they're rebuilding. I'd be more inclined to start him out around a 75-76 rating and increase it later if he keeps up his strong play. But you gotta be careful his stats aren't inflated from being on a lackluster team.

Bump.
Stats: 12.9ppg, 11.9rpg, 1.9apg, 1.0bpg, 0.8spg
So the year is pretty much over and if anything Vucevic has only gotten better. He's 2nd in the NBA in rebounds per game behind only Dwight. As mentioned before he is in a similar situation as Omer Asik, buried on a team's bench, changes to a team where he gets to be a starter and is producing really well. His numbers are better than Asik's too and we gave him a 78 after only like one month. I think that has to be the bare minimum for Vucevic, and in my opinion he deserves a little more.
Current rating: 73 Suggested rating: 79

So Vucevic gets a 79?

So, this needs a real bump now that everyone is into ratings again. I'm sure Alex may even want to update his rating, I probably want to update mine as well.
14 & 11 with about 1 block and 1 steal...about 2 assists but comes with 2 TO's. I love that he is improving his FT%, he's at 76.6% this season. Shots about 51% from the field.
I'll go 82.

He's still got quite a bit to go on defense. I'll say 79.

I'll say a 78. He has made great improvement since his time in Philly. But his stats are still a bit inflated since he plays for the Magic. I can see the argument though. I would just feel better if there were a longer track record of these performances. Since his time in Philly, his minutes have doubled as has is RPG and PPG, which should be expected, right? And I don't see the improvement from last year to this year warranting a rating in the 80s.

We have people asking for ratings based on a month of great play, but 2 years with 11+ rebounds and 13+ points, avg about a steal and a block a game both seasons, and improving his FT shooting dramatically (53 - 68 - 77) gets this guy nothing (Note, I am referring to people giving him 78 and 79 last year, he now has another year under his belt of proving he can do this, while improving from the line compared to last year).
I gave him around a 79 towards the end of last year, so his FT% improvement (big deal IMO for a big man) and proving he could once again get 11 rebounds a game and keep everything else about where it is, in a minute and a half less per game, gets me to bump up a few points. I guess you would've given him a 76 last year for his 13 & 12.
He does need to improve on defense, but if he did that with his double double skills and pretty efficient game, he'd probably be an 87.
Anyway, maintain my 82

Even though he is my player I can't go any higher then a 80 tops because he still hasn't peaked yet, he is improving but he still has leaps and bounds to go before becoming a elite Center in the NBA.

Agree he has a ways to go to become elite. The elite C's get 88-92 though. I'm still comfy at 82, I think it's just right. Looks like he'll settle in at a 79 maybe 80 though.
