Kevin Durant - Golden State WarriorsKevin Durant will re-sign with the Golden State Warriors for the following contract: Year 1: $43,279,250 Year 2: $46,525,194 Year 3: $49,771,138 Year 4: $53,017,081 Year 5: $56,263,025 Total: $248,855,688 We want to thank every team that offered for Durant- he received 7 max offers from very competitive teams. There were some compelling arguments for him to leave Golden State, primarily centered around his real-life personality of wanting to be the "bus driver" rather than being a co-star alongside Steph Curry. The decision went to committee discussion this week, where it was ultimately decided (via consensus) that many of the factors leading to Durant's real-life decisions (having signed with GSW as a FA rather than being traded, beef with Draymond, etc.) are not present in D5, and there is no real basis for having him leave the most successful franchise in D5 history. Durant has played just 90 games over the past 3 seasons in real-life, and is 34 years old, which led to the decision that he should ultimately secure the bag on a 5 year max contract that is now D5's largest contract ever.

I wonder how much Klay will sign for and if GSW is going to run into hard cap issues in the near future!

The guy's personality is the reason why he is about to leave a championship contender team for a third time IRL.
Three times, three different reasons. But it seems like the committee went too hard on the specifics but failed to used the cause.
D5 got a good chance here to simulate real life. Ain't gonna put all the blame to the PAs though because if the contending GMs did not elaborate this, then they did not help their cause.

But if you think providing opinions and pointing out issues, that you never answered by the way, is an indication of a sad state of a person, then let me tell you that it is not.
