Beal has decided to return to the Utah Jazz on a 3+1, 10 year veteran max contract worth $192,592,663. The structure will take Brad to his age 32 season, providing him with a $53 MM Player Option in the last year to leverage when the new TV money will already be proliferating through the caps around the League. He is excited to get healthy and finally team up with his childhood friend from St. Louis, the newly maxed Jayson Tatum, to provide a dynamic 1-2 punch for the fans in Salt Lake City. The additions of Anfernee Simons and Al Horford by Jared Montini during the first stage of the offseason was also a plus, as is the ability of the Jazz to continue to improve their roster through available cap space the rest of this offseason. Terms and conditions are below: Year 1: $43,279,250 Year 2: $46,525,194 Year 3: $49,771,138 Year 4: $53,017,081 (Player Option) Total: $192,592,663 We'd like to thank the Atlanta Hawks and New York Knicks for also making maximum contract overtures during free agency for Brad's services.
