John received two max offers out of the gate from teams attempting to poach him from the Hornets, but had an easy decision when Charlotte decided to match the 4 year max offer and add in a 5th year PO to return to the team. We think the fit is good in Charlotte and the team has been successful, making this an ideal situation for John with no reason to wait around for any additional offers.
