Omer Asik Trade Request Cancelled[/i]
Enormous screw up by myself. Nothing to see here folks, move along now before I die of embarrassment.

The Kings GMs, Vlade Divac and Rubén Magnano, have been presented with the league's first ever trade request after failing to deliver on their Off Season Free Agency signing promise to Omer Asik by not including him in the team's starting lineup!

The trade request comes after much Staff Team discussion and this amendment to the OSFA rules.

Sacramento will have to play Omer in a starting role within the month or be forced to either trade him or lose him to free agency!

To be fair, Asik really does deserve an increase and well, it's pretty hard to put a 72 in the starting lineup and expect to win - or for him to match other starting C's contributions.

Also, how exactly am I going to trade him when you cannot trade FA's until after December 15th or lose him to free agency WHEN HE SIGNED THE CONTRACT! First and foremost, I am a huge fan of your client in real life; both when he played for the Bulls and even more so now that he plays for my Houston Rockets. It is also worth nothing that we tried to trade for Mr. Asik when he was with the Bulls, but Mr. Graham kept being a stubborn mule! Therefore, we look forward to finally being able to negotiate with your client.

Secondly, the off-season has been very good to the Sacramento Kings. After drafting Damien Lillard and Harrison Barnes, along with trading for Danilo Gallinari, we now feel as though we possess a plethora of young perimeter players that can score the ball for this team for years to come. Our depth chart at positions 1 through 3 looks a followed.

Thus, the Kings will be able to put the ball in the hole. While shot distribution maybe a concern, which is probably the reason why Jamal Crawford left, your client does not want nor need many shots to play his game. Rather, Mr. Asik brings a combination of size, skill, quickness, and toughness that is rare in the NBA Today.

As a result, we feel as though Mr. Asik will be a top 10 center in the league. The fact that he currently averages 11/13 in real life gives credence to this idea and strongly contributes to amount of money, and flexibility, we are offering your client. Though Mr. Asik would not be a starter immediately, this is only because of his rating. Currently, Serge Ibaka and Derrick Williams are our only post players on the roster. They are both much smaller than your client and are really PF's. The starting C position would be your client's for the taking in the future, and we would love to see him win it. To start off, Mr. Asik would be the first post off the bench and he would play a similar role that he did with the Bulls in real life. However, with so much depth, we may trade for a superstar in the future. Trading for a superstar would surely require us to give up at least one of Ibaka or Williams, which would then make your client a starter.

Lastly, and most importantly, we feel as though our team will be much improved this year. We traded our 2013 1st and expect to be a playoff team this year. While we have a shot at achieving this goal as we are currently constructed, I feel as though your client could help us to make a playoff run due to his size, defense, and rebounding abilities.

What!? When did that become a rule? That's awesome, I completely support it. It should be a case by case basis though, with all the things that can come into play a single blanket statement might not work too well. It's pretty cool though, adds a factor of realism and actually punishes GMs who promise the world just to get a player to sign.
