I'm not going to go into a huge in-depth research on these two guys like how other people do in this league, I really don't have the time to do that. I just want to know what your opinions are on these 2 players?
This is primarily about Matthews since I think he deserves a 79-80, he's been a productive player on a team where he is the number 4 option. His production was down last year compared to his 2nd year, but this year he has picked up his play.
Not the best time for Rudy since he is putting up worse scoring numbers than he is used to putting up, and with trade rumors swirling he may no longer be on the Grizzlies next season. I think he could warrant a 1 or 2 point upgrade to a 85? Though most importantly I was more so worried about his individual ratings when I looked at it. His FG rating is a 75, with him averaging more than .450 FG% a year in his career I would like to think his FG rating would be an 80+. His 3PT rating is a 58 and with him averaging a .344 3PT% that looks like a low rating to me.
Would like your thoughts, thanks!

Rudy's 3 is definitely a bit low, and FG could go up some, though I haven't watched enough of him to know if he feasts more on layups/dunks or if he actually has a useful shot.
Matthews I think may deserve a 78-79...he's already at a 77. Are any of his ratings grossly off? His 3pt should be pretty high, and he has some Steal "ability" as well. Looking at his ratings, his steal could come up from a 60 to maybe a 70-75? 3pt could go from 78 to about an 82.

BUMP for Rudy George and Batum are rated the same as him, and he has been putting up better numbers in the past constantly. Since joining the Raptors he has lead them to what, 6-2 since joining the team? Something like that? Just think he should be an 85 and his FG and 3PT up. What do all you Raptor fans think?

His 3pt is really bad this year lol, and he's still shooting it a ton of them at a very bad rate. I said earlier his 3 could come up, that was based on career #'s, but we should also make sure we don't ignore this season. Even while moving to Toronto, his 3 is poor.

Haha ya he's shooting atrociously this year, it could still go up a bit though. I'm not entirely ignoring this year but he's been consisting putting up numbers for the past 5 years.

I think it should be pointed out that the Grizzles played their best basketball two years ago without him. If people remember, Memphis took OKC to 7. Therefore, I think we should wait and see how the Grizzles do this year before raising him. If they play better without him, then we can reasonable assume he was a problem and should not raise him.

I think between George, Gay and Batum that Paul George is clearly the best player. He's been doing it for the shortest amount of time though. Rudy Gay's problem is that he is pretty inefficient. If I gave him a rating like he didn't have before then I'd probably give him an 84, maybe and 85. Since a 1 point boost is stupid and would have basically no effect on the game I think he is fine at 83.

George is not "clearly" the best player of the three, but nice little dig there man :-p
I'm not in the mood to argue why not, so I won't, but that's ignoring a whole lot of stuff to say that.
