Are we implementing this for the upcoming season? We covered in Discord but I'll say again here: Yes we are. I tried to run it again last night but hit some errors so there's some tidying up progress still to make unfortunately.

Thanks Mr Nash! This is still using end-of-last-season's rosters.

So far I'm liking the new system.
There's still the lingering question of what we do with guys like Miles Bridges, or Kyrie/Simmons last year, who aren't playing because of their own personal stuff and vice verca guys like Al Horford who were sat out by OKC.

Tempted to change to a 15 day cut off instead of 30
edit: primarily because injuries don't get picked up until 30 days have passed and there'll be players who suffer injuries that obviously last longer than 30 days but they wont be made inactive until 30 days have passed. 15 days seems better.

My worry now is that the injury list will get too big

In D5 there were 38 injuries to end last season
There are 33 currently
I guess maybe it just looks like a longer list because there's one row per player.

It's kinda good we have a month-and-a-half's advance notice of how this system will look in practice, before our season begins

Thanks to Mr Brian Scalabrine I can see that the process to heal players is not working properly - Alec Burks should be "healing" currently but was completely removed from the injury list. Back to the code to fix that unfortunately.
