I accept. I gain another 1st round pick, and only have to deal with Redd and Pendergraph for a year and then they will expire and I'll still have enough cap space to go after a few free agents. This will help with rebuilding for the future.

Just a good old fashioned Kansas City Shuffle. They look one one, and you go the other. Clean the team up a bit while everyone is drafting, then position myself with over 9 mil in cap space for free agency. Cap room is a commodity that is hard to come by when you can't trade expirings any more. Either you have it or you don't!

Yea this makes sense to me really. Redd and Pendergraph have no positive value, IMO.
So, pick 17 for $7.7 million in cap space and pick 34
Pretty solid, I actually like it a good deal for the Jazz myself, but totally understand why the Bucks would do it as well. Different teams are in different spots.

Actually - this deal sends Milwaukee over the Salary Cap. Unless you want to wait until Off Season Free Agency starts and the salaries progress?
