Notice to any applicants: Dynasty Five's off season has only just begun! There is still time to salvage what could have been a disastrous off season for the Thunder by signing one of their few decent young players, Malik Beasley, and perhaps turning your attention and cap space to any other Free Agents that are available.

Alas, Bill Walton returns. D720 Brian Scalabrine, looking for refuge after being the longest tenured D720 GM.
Look, I gave a pretty long explanation in the last application thread, and I'm going to be less long-winded in this one. Here's why I'm a good fit for this team, and why the team is a good fit for what I bring to the table.
1. I'm an experienced tanker. I've got a far better than average track record for drafting, which this team will need.
2. I understand that losing games isn't the only part of rebuilding. It's being quick on the margins--the first guy to sign the next "out of nowhere" player that becomes a rotation guy, then, in all likelihood, selling him.
3. Never afraid to pivot when the opportunity makes sense, and pivot back when it makes sense again. Just because you're rebuilding doesn't mean you should never acquire a decent player. If you can get a good asset for great value, do that, and sell it later for something that brings you back to where you're headed.
I'd love to GM the Thunder. Who knows what it may bring, but the first step is probably selling anything of value to gain draft capital, and taking some swings for the fences until we can acquire a true cornerstone. Happy to start soon if y'all take me.

Well this makes things easy Welcome to the Oklahoma City Thunder, Mr Bill Walton! The off season has only just started! Your team is a blank slate, with very little established talent on which to build, but at least you have all your draft picks as well as a promising rookie in Jonathan Kuminga. Malik Beasley needs re-signing in the immediate future! Any questions just ask! You're a veteran D720 GM but thrown in at the deep-end here at D5, so to speak!
