Good evening or morning all, depending on when you're reading this post, and don't you fucking dare let me find out this was read in the afternoon. (this also goes to Walt but the post title would've been too wordy)
First a little update on myself and why I've been probably as inactive as ever. First off, life has been quite hectic. Between a soccer related knee surgery (the most embarrassing kind), full time job that's accidentally become kind of a career and living on my own basketball has kind of fallen off on the tier list of things to pay attention to. It showed first probably last season when activity on my end was lower than normal as well. But then I had to go and find some girl who likes me for some reason (what an idiot).
Me and this idiot who I tricked into loving me bought a house and life has been HECTIC as shit, redoing a bathroom and all that stupid stuff that comes with being a man who doesn't make enough money to pay some asshole to do it for me. During my check in on D5 that I do daily it just came to me how much work running the league is for Ian and Walt who both have busy lives themselves and how much even checking in daily has become a bit of a chore of love for me when I've been so busy.
I wanted to extend an official and heartfelt thanks to Ian, Walt, the ratings and trade committee and player agents (fuck those guys tho am I right everyone who missed out on a player?) who make this community possible, I've been doing this for quite a few years now and although I've not been as active I am still having a blast competing with everyone and I wish all who make the playoffs with me horrible luck so that I may win a championship.
With love,
Jeremiah Hill

For my part: I'll give a big thanks to Jeremiah for shouting me out a bit, but also want to say, I wouldn't have the motivation to do what I do without the great community of all of you here. But especially, Sir Ian Noble. His ability to create the atmosphere for this league and community to thrive is what it's all about. Love you all

I joined proboard sim leagues in 2005 as a 15 year old. 16 years later, still doing it and it's because of Ian, Walt, and the rest of you who are committed to this nerdy hobby

My first was "NBA Legends" which I think was around 2007? May have been a little bit earlier than that even. Also, at about the same time, "RimRockers" was running. Those two leagues kept me very busy around the end of college and after graduating. Maybe too busy, lol.

I was the Raptors in Legends and I actually created Rimrockers back in the day. I think it was 2006 or so? Man, glad to have you and Ian still around lol

I think Legends was around a year or two before that, but I couldn't trace it back through the old proboards files lol. Loved both leagues!
