This contract is signed using the MLE and the final year is a player option. Year 1: $4,008,000 Year 2: $4,906,310 Year 3: $5,804,620 (PO) Rodney is happy to join the Timberwolves on a multi-year deal that gives him some security as he's returning from a serious injury. He hopes to show that he's 100% back and make an impact with Minnesota. |

This is fantastic! Welcome Rodney!
We see a real chance that he starts for us at some point this season (even w/o possible injuries, which are always possible, of course). This really rounds out our roster in a great way.
John Wall - Lonzo Ball - Rudy Gay - Blake Griffin - Clint Capela
Frank Ntilikina - Nickeil Alexander Walker - Luguentz Dort - Rodney Hood - Taj Gibson
Maybe a little guard-heavy on the bench, but I like the options to push Lonzo to the bench, slide Rodney or Dort into the starting lineup, etc.
