Patty is going to re-sign with the Golden State Warriors!
Year 1: $4,500,000
Year 2: $4,837,500
Total: $9,337,500
Patty had a very passing interest from one other team, and we had a lower offer than this from Golden State on the table since basically the start of Free Agency. We had been hoping for a higher contract, and quite frankly, Chris really wanted Patty to return. Honestly, he put in more work to re-sign Patty than I've seen from some GM's put in to try to have their much "better", and younger, higher-profile players return. That said, once Chris upped his offer to get Patty closer to the yearly money that players like Derrick Rose & Jeff Teague have signed this off-season, we were ready to pull the trigger and return to this amazing franchise.
