Missed it, but on the night of the Insurrection attempt (Jan 6), Capela had 19 rebounds in just 26 minutes. He's still rounding into form from his injury last year, and only at about 26mpg on the season, but he's still putting up 10p, 12.9r, 1.0b, and 0.6s
Good to see!

Deni Avdija
Granted, he followed it up with a less-good game (6p, 5r, 1a in 20 minutes, but on 3/6 shooting).
BUT, here's his blurb from Jan 9:
Deni Avdija shot 5-of-9 from three in Saturday’s loss to the Heat, tallying a career-high 20 points (7-of-15 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs) along with five rebounds, five assists and two steals in 32 minutes.
Very nice one Deni!

Coby White currently averaging 17.7 points / 5.5 rebounds / 6.2 assists. Really developing into a legit point guard this year. Domantas Sabonis averaging 21.9 points / 12.8 rebounds / 5.8 assists And last but not least, the incredibly fun to watch Keldon Johnson averaging 14.8 points / 7.2 rebounds / 2.3 assists. Really excited about this guy’s future.

Chris Boucher and Woods are the two MIP players this year, IMO. Boucher is avg 15.7 PPG, 6.8 REB, 2.5 Blks, 77% from the FT line, 47.7% from 3pt, 59.6% FG. Last 5 games: 20.6 PPG, 8.6 REB, 3.2 Blks

Luka with two milestones despite the loss vs the Bulls: with his 36/16/15 line, he became the fourth player ever to post such a line (joining Wilt, Harden, and Oscar Robertson) and it was his 29th Triple Double of his career, passing Michael Jordan on the all time list

SGA’s opening act as the Thunder’s leading man through 14 games: 21 pts/6.5 assists/5 boards/1 steal/0.5 block per game on 51/37/78 shooting splits. Not bad stepping up from third/fourth option last year to 1st option in Year 3

Dunno if the early benching is some sort of extended punishment for the drug suspension last year, but Monk forcing his way into the rotation with his recent play. This man should not be sitting while the Martins fumble their way around the court.
36 PTS/5 REB/2 AST 11/18 FG 9/13 3P% 5/5 FT +a clutch 3 to send the game to OT

CLINT CAPELA
Lest you forget, he was working his way back from injury at the start of the season. Compared to last year, he's still a couple minutes shy on a per-game basis, but:
13.8p | 14.4r (career high) | 1.1a | 2.4b (nearly career-high) | 0.8s (tie career-high)
As a true post-oriented big man, his only fault is FT%, which is semi-common problem for these types of players. He's at 55.4% which is his 4th best % ever and about 3% higher than his career %.
Anyway, great season so far Clint!

Last night, John Wall had a fantastic all-around game:
7-12 FG + 4-5 from 3, 18p, 6r, 5a, 2s, 1b, 3to
On the season, he's averaging (30mpg):
17.8p | 4.1r | 5.8a | 1.1s | 0.8b! | 44.4/37.3!/81!
Those shooting percentages are probably his best combined single-season line ever, at this moment, including career-high 3pt%.
Get it John!

NAW
This was a couple of weeks back, but I really hope he continues to show out when given the opportunity.
In the last month or so, he seems to have at least worked his way into a much more legit bench role, averaging 23 mpg in January, putting up 10.9p / 3.6r / 2.2a / 1.2s / 0.5b
Contributing across the board, just needs to keep after it. Glad to have some stock in him!

Wanted to give some praise to Patrick Williams, who has had five straight games in double figures — including a 20/7 game on 7/11 FG and a 16/10 game last night on 7/13 shooting. He’s slowly getting more chances to showcase himself offensively and is not looking lost in the process despite being the second youngest player in the League.
