Has Kemba been in Houston for 3 years? When he was acquired back in the 2017-18 season from LAL yes— he had four seasons left (including that option year). However, absent Alex Len opting out or a trade by Houston, they cannot offer Kemba a max contract under HC rules as to do so would take them above the HC at signing. I believe the ceiling on a per year offer that Houston could make is $27 MM.

Thought he only played 18/19 and 19/20 with Houston
