The man, the myth, the legend— and arguably the dumbest trade of the Magic Johnson as Lakers FO triggerman era— it is time to show Ivica Zubac some praise. The man has started 51/53 games this year for the Clippers, and even though he cedes a lot of PT per game to Trez, his impact has been insane: - 8.7 PPG/7.1 RPG/1.0 APG/1.0 BPG while shooting 59% FG on 63% TS...in just 17.8 MPG! He’s down almost 3 MPG and is still making his presence felt
- 20.9 PER, .223 WS/48, 4.4 WS and a 3.1 BPM
If this man was given legit run as a 28-32 MPG starter, he’d be pushing some averages based on Per 36 that best guys like Capela and Adams, who are both rated well above Zubac.
A 74 feels criminally underrated for him. Suggested new rating is below, and hats off to Danny Longley for what might have been the best MLE signing of last OSFA.

If he wasn't for his conditioning he could be such a much important piece for the clippers.

Kanter, Favors and DAJ have all been rated in the 78-79 range this season with similar production in similar minutes. Definitely doesn't deserve to be in the 80s yet, really needs playing time to make that jump.
