Good article that highlights Ayton’s defensive impact this year, a vast improvement from last season. He’s not a great defender, but he has improved.

Yea, that. It's true, overall defense isn't hugely represented in our ratings. Granted, there are other aspects that affect defense (Strength & Quickness, for example). It's also true that there are players who can pile up steals or blocks without technically being all that "good" on defense (selling out for steals, or going for blocks while giving up defensive positioning, etc).

So, it's a liiiiittle more nuanced than just "D-Aware, Steal, Block", in multiple ways.

But yes, there are a lot more offensive categories, and Strength & Quickness will also affect offense.

Anyway, I'll go 81.5 on Ayton rn
