Having just read this NBA.com article I thought I'd test the waters and see whether you guys agree Rajon could go a few points higher? He's currently at 87. Here's the 4 point guards rated higher than him: 93 Derrick Rose 91 Chris Paul 90 Deron Williams 90 Russell Westbrook I feel like he's worth an 89, maybe a 90.

I would put him at 90. I think he's comparable, maybe even a little better than Westbrook and I might even say Williams as well.

Yea I don't know, the problem with Rondo is he can't shoot at all. Most all of his field goals are layups because beyond that he's awful. Last year he only shot 35.5% from 3 feet and farther. So looking at his ratings I'm not sure what you could raise. His Pass rating is 95 so I guess you could raise it to 99, and his Defensive Rebound rating is 48 and that could maybe go as high as 60 cause he's definitely shown his ability to rebound. Besides that though his ratings are pretty spot on imo. If his shooting ratings matched those other guys I think he'd be 90+ and that's the difference right there.

FIRST THING'S FIRST
CP3 AND ROSE SHOULD FLIP RATINGS, UNDER NO PLANET IS ROSE BETTER THAN CP3.
Deron and Rondo is hard to compare but I'd give slight edge to Deron right now but just slightly because Deron is a more complete player.
So does Rondo deserve 90, I'd say yes if not atleast make him same as Deron and drop Deron to 89.
BTW there is no way Russell Westbrick should be at 90
yeah his TS, PER, and Win Shares is higher but he has by far the highest usage rate out of all the PG last year.
PLUS Rondo's assist ratio is 4th among all PG last year while Russell Westbrick isn't even in the top 70.
I just liked at the shooting splits for both Rondo and Westbrook and outside the 3 pt shooting both of them are highly comparable as there is only a 3 percent change at most.

AND LASTLY how much of a product is Westbrook of Durant and the FORMER James Harden.
This year he is shooting 38 percent from field, 27 from 3 and only avg 19.6.

I haven't read all the arguments here, but if anything, Rondo should go DOWN in my opinion. He's an alright passer and defender but he can't shoot and isn't really a scorer. I'd like to see him in the mid-lower 80s considering his flaws

LOL AT BOS IGNORING NOH WORST RECORD IN WEST LAST YEAR W/O PAUL and the FACT THAT PAUL plays at a tougher CONFERENCE.
BOS did you know CHI had highest point differential last year
they were also number one in OPPONENT PPG, FG, AND 3 PT SHOOTING.
SO Rose magically made those guys play defense.
CHI also was the number one team last year in defensive efficiency.
Rose only played 39 games last year and they got NUMBER ONE SEED without him being healthy for a part of the season.
Bulls right now are 7th in EC even without Rose for this season, let's look at Paul's previous team Hornets (since he only played for LAC one season so far).
THE HORNETS ARE 12TH in the western conference.
Even in the WIN SHARES department Paul beats him with 17.5 to 8.3. for last year.

Meh, whatever, I don't really care anyway, you're just being very over the top and irritating, Magic Back on topic; here's the summary so far: UTA - low 80s LAL - 89/90 DEN - 90 (I think?) MIL - 90 BOS - 90

I think he only deserves a small bump to 88-89 but not the 90s. I agree with Denver.

I guess I'm saying he's fine where he is. I'm somewhere between Josh and the rest of you. The guy is an awful shooter so he needs good players around him to finish when he makes a play for them. Considering that I'm not sure he can justifiably have a 90+ rating when he is partially the product of his surroundings.

If his passing is already 95, I guess you could maybe bump it out to 99...and yea his rebounding could improve a little bit. I'd do those two things and see where he ends up. His actual shooting is very poor, so make sure that isn't too high.
He's a tougher guy to just slap an overall rating on for me. If he did everything really well I'd be more comfortable giving an overall rating. As it is, make sure his passing is high (already is), and as a guard, he's a solid rebounder. I thought 60 sounded good for defensive rebounding as well. Whatever that does to his rating, leave it there.

BOS: 90 MIL: 90 DEN: 87 LAL: 90 UTA: low 80s PHX: 89 SAC: 89/90 HOU: 88/89
I'll eliminate the top and bottom 2 and average the rest.
low 80s, 87, 88.5, 89, 89.5, 90, 90, 90
So that means an 89, and I think it's generally agreed Rondo only gets boosts in the passing and rebounding departments?

I don't think Rondo ever got this increase. I'd accept an 88-89ish but mainly from DReb, and what little there is left on Pass/Dribble could just get maxed out basically?
