Marcus Morris scored 20 points during a 106-103 win over the Mavs on Thursday, adding five rebounds, one steal, one block and five 3-points in 34 minutes.
He's having a career year with a career-highs of 18.6 points, 2.7 treys, 1.1 steals, 0.8 blocks and even a 22.3 usage rate.

Luka with the 42/12/11 triple double (his league leading 5th through 12 games) on 50% from the floor and 40% from 3 to put away the Spurs
Edit: This triple double puts Luka in the history books with LeBron as the only two players age 20 or younger with a 40 point triple double

Definitely need to see at least 50+ game sample size, but to say I’m excited by their progress is an understatement

Luka with another milestone for the record books: most triple doubles by a player 21 or younger to start a season (considered first 15 games) since Oscar Robertson’s 11 in 15 in the mid 1960s, and he now owns the only 35 pt triple double in history that was accomplished in 25 mins or less.
Luka, take a bow!

It was obvious he was gonna be great Suns it was a marketing playbook 101 to take the “local” kid from Zona, but the Kings have no excuse other than they said they didn’t want to alienate Fox. Personally he and Luka probably could’ve played together...or if they couldn’t, Fox had shown enough that he probably could’ve netted someone (Bradley Beal, Porz, etc) who could’ve. Biggest “What If?” though than even those two teams: knowing what they do now, do the Hawks still trade Luka for Trae and what eventually became Cam Reddish, who is struggling to put it mildly

Good question, just too early to tell imo.

You're right it's way too early, but Cam Reddish had bust written all over him. I won't be surprised if/when he eventually fails to develop. He's this year's Kevin Knox.

Luka strikes again with a 41/10/6/2 line on 55% FG to lead the Mavs to a double digit win on the road vs. the Rockets
Edit: Also with this line, he matched KD as the only players to ever have four straight 35+ point games at age 20 or younger

If he keeps this up all year and the Mavs make the playoffs, I’m really interested to see how he does in the postseason— he’s got the mindset to excel in that setting but with the increased physicality and defensive attention I’m curious how he responds to that

Who you trying to big up here? Sir, do you have a moment to talk about our Lord and Savior Terence Davis? Edit: Basically Brandon Clarke and Terence Davis have been the 2 most impactful rookies so far.

Obligatory “What did Doncic do this game?” shout out: 42/11/9/1 on 50% from the floor, 15-18 from the FT line, and most importantly the Mavs 12th victory already this year despite 3-6 Latvia’s slow start.
