I like this for both teams. New Orleans obviously gets great value for a pretty wide open draft after the top three, and New York gets the best prospect left, and in my opinion one of the best prospects in the entire draft. Hayes is #4 on my board. So it makes sense from both sides.

I like Hayes, but he’s a long way away from being a steady contributor. It’s a good long term play for the Knicks, but like a lot of players in this draft, the unknown is a huge factor that will determine if this is a good or so-so trade in time
