Mike Conley to the Jazz. Memphis getting three players and two 1sts — 23 this year and 2020 heavily protected— from Utah

I like this for both teams. Conley Mitchell ingles favors and Gobert is a very good starting lineup. with the warriors depleted and Houston falling apart I can see a potential conf finals appearance from this team although I won’t bet on it

Teams are really going for it next year, Utah basically traded their 18, 19 and 20 first round picks. Although they got a pretty scary stating 5 in return that I think it's pretty well rounded

If you’re the Warriors, and all these teams are just loading up, do you try to trade Iggy who is expiring after next season for a bunch of depth pieces and tank? I don’t think a Steph and Draymond led team is better than 44 wins, which out West is likely on the outside looking in for the playoffs
Plus, with the teams that jumped under the new lotto odds, it may be the best strategy to “take a year off”, reset, reload, and then come back in 2020 ready to go

I dont think the Warriors are still the favorite out West. Denver has the best chance to come out on top.

We need some new blood. I always hate for players to get injured. I think Durant and Thompson's injuries may be good for the league.
Also looking to see what happens with the Celtics. I think taking the step back away from Irving will be a positive. Losing Horford will hurt, but he opens up salary. They should resign Rozier and run him and Smart together. Defensive backcourt.
If Kawhi leaves Toronto for the Clippers. Who will they get to replace him? Gasol is getting older as well. Looks like it's the Bucks to lose. After all those years of struggling, they're finally putting it together. Will they lose Middleton, though?

The team I’m watching is Philly; personally, if I were them, I’d try to resign Butler, let Harris walk and go after Malcolm Brogdon. He’s the kind of guy they need who can defend, shoot, and be a real glue guy for them who won’t whine for the ball

Could Durant go to Brooklyn with Irving and sit out a year? Or, will the Nets sign Tobias Harris?

The NBA media circle jerk around the Lakers is approaching the Heatles territory of eight years ago when ESPN had an entire section of their website dedicated to the Miami Heat. Every other day it’s half of the All NBA 1st and 2nd team will join the Lakers this summer and Stephen A Smith seems like he’s trying to will a Lakers superstar trio into existence

Glad that Val stayed in Memphis. With JJJ spacing and defence he can really excel at his role. I know JJJ was injured at the time but he averaged 20-10 in his short time with the Grizzlies.

Lillard just signed a four year, $196 MM extension with roughly $50 MM each of the last two seasons, meaning combined with his current two years and $61 MM remaining, he will make $257 MM over the next six years

So. If a sign and trade 3 way between Boston, Brooklyn, and Charlotte goes through Boston can keep Bird Rights on Horford and Morris and being thwm back.
