The 11th pick of the real-life draft is dropping... just saying. Maybe here he can be picked where he actually belonged In hindsight he probably should’ve went between 30 and 35; he’s almost 24 and was medically red flagged for a hip issue by several teams. Absolutely awesome shooter and a legit 6’9”, but doesn’t bring much else or has a lot of upside left

With the 23rd and 24th picks in the 2019 D5 draft the New Orleans Pelicans select Chuma Okeke and Matisse Thybulle I mean seriously the Pelicans are running away with this draft. Winners of the Draft: Pelicans. Losers of the Draft: Everyone that is not the Pelicans.

God damn it I was trying in vain to move back into this range for Okeke— the guy is an awesome glue player who has a ridiculous steal rate plus solid 3 point shooting. Well done Brian Scalabrine and Steve Nash with stocking guys who will cover for the atrocious defense of your rising sophomore PG, Trae Young

I think passing on Jaxson Hayes is a mistake too. Okeke and Thybulle are both really good prospects though. Good 3-and-D guys at a minimum.

Good 3-and-D guys at a minimum. My thinking in passing over hayes is that non-shooting centers are so undervalued in the current nba. Even an elite rim runner like Clint Capela on a cheap contract is neutral value and the irl rockets are looking to dump him. I have more confidence in Clarke's shooting, playmaking and switchability

Also Grant Williams, Langford, Okeke, Thybulle oh and Trae Young

Even an elite rim runner like Clint Capela on a cheap contract is neutral value and the irl rockets are looking to dump him. I have more confidence in Clarke's shooting, playmaking and switchability I think Hayes can be much more than a non-shooting rim running center. He's a good free throw shooter, showed some ability to make jump shots and has an excellent touch around the rim. He should be able to develop a good shot. He's also almost 4 years younger than Clarke and has all the athleticism and mobility you could want out of a 7 footer. His potential is so much higher. I like Clarke a lot too, but I think his upside is kind of limited. He's a bit undersized and isn't exactly a high skill player. He succeeds on his athleticism and hustle more than anything. I think his best case scenario is like Montrezl Harrell or Denver Kenneth Faried. He's the perfect late first round steal, but I'd go with Hayes every time because I think he's got All-Star potential. Now I guess we just have to wait 4 or 5 years to see who's right lol.

Hey guys, do you wanna know what would be really funny? Let the Cam Johnson scrub drop and go undrafted. Or maybe to a team without first round picks. The blazers come to mind for example
