I don't see any evidence here either way, but given the original post is using this year's salaries it does make that conclusion uncertain.

I had the cap space to absorb him, I’m not sure why it was posted with 2020 salaries. The only potential queuing was for that draft pick as James Kay pointed out but that also would have been before salaries progressed.

Yea I think so but keep in mind you aren’t allowed to trade expiring contracts

This probably was because you could only trade your pick after making the selection, unless you traded your 2020 1st this year. Only explanation I can see.

BKN had more than enough cap space to make the deal work.

Also the draft pick queued the trade, but the Draft happened before salaries progressed, so we're all good.
