Me and Ghazny agreed to this exchange: Kings trade: 2022 SAC 1st 77 Avery Bradley $26,606,250 $28,601,719 $30,746,848 75 Alex Len $10,000,000 $10,000,000 $10,000,000 Total = 36,606,250 Cavaliers trade: 80 Darren Collison $16,174,651 $16,174,651 $16,174,651 80 Robert Covington $21,378,491 $22,981,878 $24,585,265 $26,188,652 76 Reggie Bullock $3,200,000 $2,400,000 Total = 40,753,142
Team building for me is balancing WINNING today and in the future. I know that it will be hard but I believe I already have the core capable of reaching the playoffs this season and the next one even without the three that I am trading in this one. So, I decided to try to help out the future of the team, even though the risk is really huge ( I trust Ian but still, who knows if D5 will still exist by then ) and Kings two (plus RoCo) cornerstone are just 29 (Drummond) and 32 (Lillard) by 2022. I also achieved some of my other goals with these trade. I will now have a starting spot for Zach Lavine, the present and the future of our franchise. I can also now start Dedmon, a guy that I believe is a capable starting center and a great fit to my team. I am not counting on Bradley to revive his career at this point. But I think, he can still be a reliable role player IRL. Len is simply a home run shot, hoping that his outside shooting will prosper. I am happy to send Darren, RoCo and Reggie to a team that also value the REALISM of contending. With the looming tight race in the West, I strongly believe that this trade will push them over the hump. RoCo and DaCo will be an upgrade and a way way way way better fit to the core of the Kings than Avery B and Turner. Alex Len is also extra baggage for them with his contract because they have a loaded frontline already of Olynyk, Drummond and Favors. And Bullock will add shooting in their bench that basically have none. I ACCEPT.

FYI Covington was signed last off season and there's still six days until the Dec 15th restriction on trading OSFAs is lifted. Willing to accept the trade. I don't think it makes much sense from CLE's point of view personally, but it's not bad enough to reject considering, and at least it means RoCo wont be out of position for the rest of his career

Wow 2nd year in a row I've missed out on a player in FA and they get traded literally as soon as possible in the first season on the team.

Might wanna delete the "System stole our big three" signature since you would have just traded them away.
Plus the reasoning here is dumb. So you can play Dedmon? Really, just admit you want Zion like everyone else lol.

One team offered Robert a starting promise for the duration of his contract. One team offered Robert much more money than any other team was willing to offer. One team made a great case for the team they are building with Robert as a key cog in their starting lineup. One team believes in Robert. Robert Covington will sign the following deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers

There is no one in the league that believes players should value $>anything because it's most realistic. However I do think it's really really stupid for a team to do it.

Seems like the perfect day to have made the "eek" emoji and that one :ergh: and also that one, that might be Hana right now

I need to clarify. It's stupid because it shows any promise of loyalty even with a large contract is a lie. That's why it's dumb to give these massive contracts to mid level players in the first place. I think this trade is an absolute slam dunk for Hana. But if he's competing with my team to sign a player, why would that player choose his team over mine the literal most loyal team in the league assuming equal money.

It's hilarious that after all his lecturing about tanking and REALISM Hana is trading players he signed just months ago in a clear move to make his team worse. This is hypocricy of the highest order

I accept i need to upgrade my roster and try to be a championship contender without trading lillard or drummond.
Just move on guys even hana is a victim of that off season free agency.
I can wait until this trade will be valid.

The best part is how much an ass Hana is to other teams that try to tank.

We honestly need to keep track of teams that trade players they signed in the off season. It's not fair or right for the GM's who actually want these players.
I accept anyways, decent trade. The kings pick could a decent one in 2022.

True, but even with that said, I believe Hana outspent everyone which should be an option imo.
