The Orlando Magic accept this trade.
We move Kuzminskas, who was added to make salaries more evenly match up, a player we have enjoyed having in Orlando, but also one who is out of the league at this point.
So, this trade boils down to an upgrade at power forward and one more guaranteed year with a player at that position. We love Derrick and wish him all the best in Sacramento, he has been one of the reasons our team has been successful recently and neither the fans nor the Magic organization will forget this. We believe veteran leadership on the court is needed for our continued success and what better player to take on this role than Paul Millsap, a multiple-time All-Star whose talents will fit our team’s style very well.
We do lose our first round selection in the 2021 off-season, but we are fine with that given our team’s growth and now the stability of having re-signed our players and bringing in Mr. Otto Porter this off-season. Normally we would be unwilling to trade a future first given our past trading history, but in such a deal as this where we are making a major upgrade to the lineup, we feel comfortable in pulling the trigger.
This trade has been a part of our plan for most of the off season and it took a great deal of thought, as does anything in which you have a good period of time before making a decision final, but we post it looking forward to future success and growth as a franchise.
We would like to thank the GM of the Kings for smooth negotiations and allowing us the time between discussing a deal and making it happen to wait for free agency signings. It was a pleasure working with you, Ghazny!

Just my opinion, but I feel as though SAC wins this by a mile. Millsap is getting older and slower and is sure going to be decreased this upcoming year.

Kings win this easily, but with the addition of Otto Porter today it's not like the Magic are in trouble. I accept.

I'll accept. The ratings might get a little bit closer between these two main factors but I do believe Millsap is still the superior option. The pick is far enough away, and, Orlando looks set up well-enough that the risk is relatively low.
Accept.
