Welcome to the 2018 Dynasty Five Rookie Draft! Please read the Rules & Info below. The draft will begin as soon as the first pick is made. There is no time limit on making your pick until the start of the real NBA Draft June 21st.

Rules & Info:

Pick from the list of Available Rookies (TBA June 21st).

After June 21st the top 5 picks have 2 days to make their pick. First Round picks have 12 hours to be picked. Second Round picks have 6 hour slots that are allotted when the Round begins.

The rights to undrafted rookies, who declared for this year's draft, can also be claimed during the Rookie Draft. An undrafted rookie will remain as "draft rights held" status on your team salaries until they play in the NBA.

Until the June 21st NBA Draft there is no time limit on picks but only the Top 10 rookies may be picked.

If a draftee withdraws from the draft and has been picked here at D5 before June 21st that pick will need to be chosen again, but choice is limited to those players who have not yet been picked (Note: Draftees from the NCAA can no longer withdraw, but international draftees have until 10 days before the NBA Draft - GMs may wish to wait to make their pick for this reason).

If you miss your pick, a random pick may be made for you up to 5 spots further down from where your team is picking. You may change the player that was picked for you at a later time in the draft, but only if the player you'd rather pick has not been taken by other teams.

Submit draft boards to Ian Noble if you're worried about missing your pick.

So technically George Gervin is on the clock until 2 days after the Rookie Draft starts in-real-life. You can pick any time Mr Gervin, but obviously there's no hurry. I think the only person to pick before the real Draft began was Billy King last year - many believe that this act cursed Markelle Fultz's rookie season and led to the departure of Billy King

I know. My initial comment wasn't stating any terms of potential outlook, but he was trying to attach a negative tone for no reason. So, that is why I stated MJ as a counter. Ayton may end up being a bust, who knows, but it is fun to watch players with attitude compete against one another in a day of soft competition.

Just to be clear, a bust for me is a draftee that will turnout to be ranked in his draft class 15 lower than his draft position, 10 years after his draft year.

I just think that this draft is pretty loaded from lottery to the 60th pick.  So, I think Brian Scal and George G. have a good chance of owning this D5 draft. Will they deliver? We will findout five years from now

Agree with this— the class is loaded with depth, but some guys after the top 2 of Doncic and Ayton could flame our big time. Porter Jr is a mystery (and overrated IMO), Jackson should be solid but not special, Bagley can’t defend a chair, and Bamba is a huge project. Guys like Kevin Knox, Mikal Bridges, etc. could be better than guys taken in the top 6 given the wing oriented focus of the league.

I like some guys in that range a lot (Hutchinson from Boise, Thomas from Creighton, Jerome Robinson of Boston College, etc.) but there are some guys who look like combine workout warriors and not much else. Kevin Huerter from Maryland is exhibit A in that group; he was an underwhelming college player, had a great combine, and now is a 1st rounder? Don’t buy that

Bagley is pretty much a lock at two according to sources. Which means he will go 15th in D5 because we all hate SAC.
