2018 Draft Lottery
Soon I will be simming the Lottery with a GM remotely connected to my PC.

The lottery will continue as the Playoffs progress. A new team will be added to the bottom of the list every day until the top two spots have been confirmed.

The lottery will be simmed using D5's Draft Lottery Simulator (originally created by Josh Barber).

Once the lottery is finished the 2018 Rookie Draft can begin, without time limits on picks until after the real NBA draft starts on June 21st.

Tie-breakers were decided here.

In 1999 the Charlotte Hornets jumped from 13th into the Top 3 (#3) and picked Baron Davis.

In 2014 the D5 Houston Rockets jumped from 13th to the Top 3 (#2) and picked Jabari Parker.

And now, in 2018, for the first time in NBA and D5 history, the ^{0.5% / 1.8% 14. San Antonio Spurs (via LAC)} 14th Pick has jumped into the Top 3 with only a 1.8% chance of doing so!

This 14th pick (via LAC) was acquired 4 days ago by the Spurs in return for Isaiah Thomas!

Congratulations to D5's newest GM, George Gervin, you're officially the luckiest GM in the history of Dynasty Five, and you've only been here a month!

When a team 'jumps up' that means they're in the Top 3 but part of the suspense is finding out where in the Top 3 as well

When watching these teams get announced what you're looking for is a break in the order they're announced. So today was supposed to be San Antonio Spurs (via LAC) at #14, but because it was New York Knicks that automatically means the Spurs (via LAC) pick is in the Top 3.

Sorry I'm telling you the obvious but I guess this also outlines it for others.
