Current:81 Suggested:87
Join me in the hype train. When you beat 3 superstars (Adams) as a rookie you deserve a raise.

Overreaction much?

We also don't have a true rule, but, Donovan has gotten at least two raises this year already.
And, there's no way in hell the league is voting a rookie to an 87 from an 81, especially based on a playoff series.

I'm convinced lol, normally I don't believe a rookie can go above an 83. However, this guy is a monster. He averaged 20 ppg on a good team. He's legit... 85

normally I don't believe a rookie can go above an 83. I don't think that should be a rule or anything. Think about Shaq in his rookie year, or Lebron or MJ, they were already at least high 80s players, if not 90+.

81 - two stock watches and playoff hype. Great player, but I stand by only having two stock watches a year. Walt is already swamped as is, so changing the same player three plus times a year makes the work cumbersome on Walt.

Is there a Stock Watch limit?
My guy Ben Simmons has gone from 76 -> 81 -> 85 already, and I plan on submitting another thread once the Playoffs are done... AND if he had those increases sooner he might be shortlisted for D5 ROTY!
Donovan Mitchell shouldn't be far behind Simmons either.

I don't think we set a limit, but in years past rating adjustments were much slower. I just think we are taking advantage of Walt if we keep posting more and more because he has been updating faster this year. Just my thoughts.

I mean.. if he's playing like an 87, 85, 81 or 75, his rating should reflect that as much as possible.
As long as Walt isn't overwhelmed, of course.
I'll vote 85 though, not entirely comfortable going any higher than that. He's been doing it all season and took it to another level when it's mattered more. Jazz aren't supposed to be where they are and that's largely due to Mitchell

Little bit of an overreaction based on one series, but given how he was playing the whole season I’d already feel comfortable voting him to an 83/84.
So i’ll go 83.5.

No way he's an 87. But 85 sure. He's an AMAZING defender and a pretty fucking good offensive player.
If we're voting I say 86 because he's also really athletic. If not thats fine too.

I want our league to be as accurate as possible in the confines of our sim engine and available rating categories.
For Donovan, we can do another change, but, especially with his team moving on, it would make a LOT more sense to let him play out the next series and see where we want to rate him then. And, I dare say, if they win that series too, wait again. Get as big of a sample as possible. It could make people vote higher, or lower.
I'm waiting to vote

I'll say 83 for now and will likely raise that the next time he has another stock watch
