Agree with Scal. The hard cap has only just shifted the paradigm so that, for the first time ever, money actually matters and should be conserved! This is like some bailout for previous mistakes. DoNotWant.jpg Like when everyone let you get away with trading away the worst contract in NBA history because you’re the commish.... I would hope it's not for that reason! I've had plenty of trades rejected in the past.

Just for your own reference.

Mark Price Ian Noble Jared Montini1. Buyouts do not occur on players on multi-year deals worth nearly 100 million dollars. 2. Our league does not need a buyout system in my opinion, I do however still think we should have an amnesty clause for certain teams in certain situations. My idea is as follows. This idea has to be available for everyone to use, perhaps only once every other year or so. I believe that the punishment should be geared towards what kind of team is trying to use it. 1. A team may cut one player and have the entirety of their contract brought into the current year, you can only do this before the trade deadline. So in this case Wade's contract $105,000,000 would be added to this year and all of the penalties of being above the hard cap apply, basically you can't trade with anyone. What this does is keeps people from abusing this system. This is just a rough draft of an idea, but it could resolve issues like this.
