87- Rework
This guy shoots 42% in D5 whereas peers like Jokic and Towns shoot almost 50%. It has definitely impacted the standings as well, Ian has a great team but can't seem to win games whereas Jeremiah has no team and can't seem to lose games. Definitely needs a ratings update to increase his Inside Scoring.

I was waiting on posting an Embiid thread until after he had 60 games played for the Sixers this year because by far the biggest criticism earlier this year was his health. I feel like Embiid is 90+ rated if people aren't docking points for lack of playing time. I feel like he's the best big-man in the league and even a Top 10 player. But if this can be a re-work thread, and I'm ok to post a rating boost thread in a few months time, that's cool. Increase: 72 Inside Scoring is joint-117th in the league, which is really bad obviously, and we just discovered how important Inside Scoring is on the sim. He's below Ben McLemore (75), Tomas Satoransky (74), Omri Casspi (75). Higher on the spectrum we have Demarcus Cousins at 95, Clint Capela at 93, Anthony Davis at 89, that's more like where Embiid should live imho.
75 Block is a bit weird considering, although that's actually 40th in D5. Embiid at 1.8bpg is 6th in the NBA.
83 Defensive Awareness could probably be higher considering Embiid is one of the top prospects for DPOY alongside Paul George, from what I've seen. Decrease: 86 Dunk is maybe too high. Sure he can dunk nicely, but it's not what he's known for.
62 Speed, 63 Jump and 67 Quickness could go lower maybe. Embiid's a beast but he's more strength and power than speed and explosiveness.
39 Dribbling could be even lower, Embiid's turnovers are an issue, he's still pretty sloppy in his decision making sometimes and I think Dribbling directly affects turnovers? which haven't dropped since last year. Embiid is 6th highest in turnovers per game in the NBA at 3.9.

He's my DPOY so far. Probably the best center in the league. He can also do pretty much everything on O, shoot, pass, post game, rebound and at very efficent levels.

90 those turnovers are still a problem, once he eliminates them he'll be so much better.
also - how are we going to account for all the games he misses? He's missed almost 20% of the games this year, IMO Ian shouldn't get a 90+ player for every game so either his rating should be lower or his injury rating high or something to account for that

Currently he's played 47 of 58 games. Embiid's playing every game now, so that puts him on pace to play 71 games this season and we could've had this discussion without any health doubts edit: Josh's Nets just beat my Celtics two games in a row though and he wants to tank, so here we are

I was saving this for when I eventually was going to submit an Embiid thread, but I've got to make as best a case as I can right now so here it is: The best defensive duos in the NBA:

89.
He's basically a franchise player, but even still, he's played just 78 games in his career. Time is the only thing keeping him from a 90+ rating for me.

89 for now but I am sure I will likely vote higher each time there is a Embiid thread.
