Allow me to introduce... the 2017 New Orleans Pelicans!
Starting at center, it's Thon Maker Age Faker! This human-stick is averaging 4.4 points, and the name of the game is efficiency, as Thon is converting at a blistering 32% clip. Clocking in at PF, it's Juan Hernangomez, who, indisputably, has spent 21.8mpg on the court! Juan is something of a sharp-shooter on this squad (WALT CHECK THIS GUYS RATINGS), seeing as his white-hot 40.3 FG% shooting is actually higher than his real-life FG% of 39%! At small forward, we have the hidden gem of the group, this absolute unit - Darius Miller! You may be saying, who?? But this beast is fresh back from a two year sabbatical with a German basketball team, and has taken D5 by storm. Dropping a hefty 20.3 points per game, this 68 rated player is leading the Pelicans in points, rebounds, and blocks. As the lights dim, prepare yourself for the spectacular entrance of the star of the whole show, its Rodney McGruder! This player is averaging nearly 5 whole points IRL, and prides himself on being just barely the highest rated player on this team. Check the steals numbers folks, he's 3rd in the league. Oh, you want leadership? He's got that, too. This won't show up on our leaderboards, but Rodney leads the entire league in turnovers. Finally, the point guard, the man who makes it all come together, its Fred VanVleet! If you thought the rest of the starting line up was obscure, you haven't met anonymity yet. In his second year in the league, the mention of this man's name in any normal conversation will result in immediate embarrassment as you try to explain why you know who this 24 year old Canadian is.
This league doesn't have many players under 70, so give it up for the Pelicans, who are composed of almost entirely sub-70 players. They have not gotten enough recognition for trotting out which is potentially the absolute worst roster in the entire history of D5. The Jazz, Wizards, Hawks, and Suns have never put out a product like this. I'm in awe. The Pelicans have kept their record alive! Still no D5 playoffs appearances

haha I knew this was coming such a good dunk tho! It was like a softer version of Vince Carter's dunk on Alonzo Mourning!

Butler to PhillyIan Noble Now you get to see how it feels to have your vastly more talented young player lose possessions to Jimmy Butler.

I don't doubt Ben or Joel's competitiveness or mental toughness, that's an edge they have over guys like Towns and Wiggins. Also whilst RoCo and Saric provided spacing, Butler's gravity on offense will give Jojo a lot more space to operate down low and provide Simmons with plenty of assist opportunities. Simmons is very much an opportunistic scorer anyway, more of a facilitator, so it might be fantastic for them. I do worry about Butler going hard on Fultz. Fultz seems like a great glue-guy that everyone gets along with, but doesn't seem to have that competitive edge that Butler likes, same as... dare I say it... Ben McLemore (sorry Josh pls forgive me

Ben McLemore (sorry Josh pls forgive me There's not as much pressure on Fultz as there was on Wiggins/KAT. Fultz is just a roleplayer at this point, anything he gives them is a bonus. You can't really blame a win or a loss on Fultz like you could for KAT. That being said, I'm not sure how Fultz fits in with this team. They have a serious spacing issue, even if they start Fultz/Redick/Butler/Simmons/Embiid... I'm not sure that lineup can survive in the modern NBA. I think the best case scenario for Fultz is that he either leads the bench unit or gets traded.
