The face of the Sacramento Kings franchise, Lillard is the only player on the roster to have been with the team for more than three years. The Sacramento Kings drafted Damian Lillard with the 2nd overall pick in the 2012 draft (via TOR). Lillard has done nothing but excel since.
Dame is a high volume scorer and a gifted distributor. He is strong and athletic, speedy and shifty, talented and tough. What makes Damian Lillard elite, however, is the chip on his shoulder. Constantly being snubbed from all-star games, all NBA-Teams, and Olympic teams has hardened Lillard. He plays with a unique fervor, and it pays off.
In the Dynasty Five league, Lillard has three of the top "Individual Points in a Single Game" records. On February 10th, 2013 Lillard dropped 51, his career high, against the Phoenix Suns. On December 6th, 2016 Dame put up 50 against Cleveland. On March 8th, 2017 Lillard scored 50 in a double-double to take down Milwaukee.
Currently leading the league in scoring, Lillard is not only Sacramento's best player, but a top player in D5. Come to the 2017 off-season, resigning Damian Lillard will be the first priority for General Manager John Lodge. Given the direction of the team, and Lillard's renowned loyalty, Lodge is confident that a deal can be struck.
Lillard is talented in arenas other than basketball. In 2016, under the stage name "Dame Dolla", he dropped a rap album entitled The Letter "O". Listen to it here: soundcloud.com/damianlillard0.
