I was bored so I went through the archives and picked out the 5 trades from last year that look best today. I just thought it'd be cool to have on record.
Timberwolves trade:
75 KJ McDaniels $1,001,200 $1,044,300 $1,882,873 $2,779,120
65 Markel Brown $600,000 $700,000
65 Josh Huestis $600,000 $700,000
Grizzlies Trade:
70 Jae Crowder $1,856,688 $2,701,481
Wow unbelievable deal by Walt to get a now 80 rated Jae Crowder for a bunch of guy still in the low 70’s. Crowder wouldn’t have helped the Grizzlies much anyways but the Wolves get a key contributor for cheap.

Nets Trade:
78 M. Carter-Williams - $2,215,200 - $2,296,047 - $2,360,724
81 Kevin Martin - $7,584,935 - $6,833,275
Nets Receive:
LAC 2018 1st Rounder
83 Jrue Holiday - $12,000,000 - $12,500,000 - $12,500,000 - $13,000,000
Josh upgrades from MCW to Jrue Holiday, which is massive, dumps a retiring Kevin Martin and gets a 1st round pick in the process. Huge win for the Nets.

Nets Trade:
83 Greg Monroe - $18,452,500 - $20,482,275 - $22,735,325 - $25,236,211 - $28,012,194
84 Nicolas Batum - $14,169,150 - $15,727,757 - $17,457,810
76 Andrea Bargnani - $2,200,000 - $2,442,000 - $2,701,620
BKN 2016 1st
BKN 2018 2nd
Clippers Trade:
89 Blake Griffin - $18,907,725 - $20,140,838 - $21,373,950 - $22,827,379 - $24,402,461
70 Luke Ridnour - $1,500,000 - $2,000,000
75 Gerald Wallace - $10,768,000 - $11,842,480
Blake was mired in controversy after punching his friend/trainer in the face at this point and Nic Batum is an excellent player but this return isn’t exactly what you’re hoping for when trading away a superstar. There’s a chance Blake can’t overcome injuries and declines but so far this was another homerun for Josh.

Pistons Trade:
2020 1st
2020 2nd
73 Carlos Boozer $8,880,000 $9,856,800 $10,941,048 $12,144,563
76 Nick Young $6,000,000 $6,000,000
Jazz Trade:
Nothing
This was the trade that doomed the Pistons. I’m really surprised this wasn’t rejected honestly, to get a 1st round pick for taking on $14 million in cap in an incredible deal. Not to mention the irony that Detroit didn’t even use this space in free agency! This is almost exactly the same as the Sixers-Kings Stauskus trade from a couple years ago IRL, complete swindling.
