This draft class is insanely weak. There is opportunity to rise for lesser known prospects. I disagree. This is a draft where majority of the prospects will be wrongly evaluated. I would call that weak if many candidates can't easily separate themselves. There will be great players, there always is.

Jhill is right, this is a weak draft class. All the scouts even indicate second round players will be drafted in the first because there is no depth this year.

Draft is 10 days out, and like every year, there’s no shortage of rumors and team posturing. Even in a year with a clear 1, 2, 3, there’s still plenty of drama unfolding. Some whispers that have gained traction: - The Knicks have real interest in moving back from 3, with Boston and Atlanta seen as the likeliest candidates to trade up that high. The talk around the Knicks is as opposed to taking Barrett at 3, move back and pick up several role player types— Brandon Clarke is a name in particular— to compliment the presumed FA additions
- Brandon Clarke to Phoenix at 6 is gaining steam, with word out the Suns do not like Garland or White as their PG of the future. This pick could also be moved to a team with a PG glut; Lonzo has been a popular name for the Suns
- Jaxson Hayes has solidified his hold as likely the first center to be taken, but Goga Bitadze has been turning heads and may hear his name called in the top 10, with Atlanta at 10 or Minnesota at 11 popular destinations
- Cam Johnson, the sniper SG from UNC, despite being 23 already has an outside chance of going top 20– potentially as high as 17– and is unlikely to make it past Philadelphia in the early 20s
- RJ Barrett has refused to take a workout invite with Memphis, and appears dead set on New York at 3 or LA at 4 for his landing spot
- Bol Bol continues to slide on his persistent injury concerns (foot still has not fully recovered) and now questions about how much he “loves the game”. He stands now to go in the late teens to late 20s
- The Thunder are dangling pick 21 as a carrot for cap relief given they are significantly over the luxury tax, and that first rounder feels more like an MLE signing based on the impact
- Ty Jerome of UVA is getting a lot of buzz despite his unathletic traits and smaller frame as a likely top 25 pick, with the Spurs and Jazz popular landing spots

Yi Jianlin dominated a bunch of chairs at his pro day— I’m with you that Bol isn’t a great prospect, but huge guys with foot problems don’t usually stay healthy

That dude doesn't move like he is 7'2 Is he the tallest guard draft prospect ever? Makur Maker just rose to #2 in the 247 Class of 2020 Rankings from being a three star prospect. His position is listed as power forward but looking at his tapes, you’ll see he plays with guard like offensive instincts
