Bledsoe is going to have surgery on his knee. I think we should strongly consider putting him on the injury list as these types of surgery usually take 6-8 weeks to recover from.

Bledsoe is going to have surgery on his knee. I think we should strongly consider putting him on the injury list as these types of surgery usually take 6-8 weeks to recover from. This is why we should make injury list decisions retroactively! We are 6 weeks behind the real NBA season...take advantage of it instead of taking lots of shots into the wind...

Didn't realize because he was out for about a month with right knee soreness without any real updates, but Brandan Wright had surgery Dec. 16 and apparently had a 6-8 week timetable set from then.

I forget our handling of shut downs. Do we allow a player to keep playing in d5 if they are shut down for the remainder of a season? I believe we have had this argument before, but I was wondering so we know before it starts happening.

I guess it makes sense to a degree, but someone being shut down for reasons involving team decisions, it doesn't make sense.
