Aka Miami started with Lebron and wade and bosh Troy didn't trade any of them away though, IMO that takes much more restraint than jumping in and trading just to make your own mark. Pat Riley built the Heat but Troy has kept them together for longer Bosh was traded.

Ergh, wow, I posted that originally because I wanted to give GMs a pat on the back for not trading away good players, in the hope that more GMs would do the same for the sake of realism. Sure did backfire!

Thunder sure had some bad GMs in the past. I found 2 trades already that involved Kevin Durant. And that trade of Westbrook for Deron Williams, WOW. Thunder were kinda lucky that they lost Deron during off-season because he was heavily overpaid.

Truth is only loyal GMs towards big starts from day 1 based on dynasty5ive.proboards.com/board/83/2011-12-rosters have been Mavs (Nowitzki), Warriors (Curry and Thompson), Blazers (Aldridge) and Lakers (Kobe). Clippers were loyal to Griffin and Jordan but they traded away Paul.

In D5, loyalty = bird rights even though I only mentioned teams being loyal to stars that they had from day 1. Answer me back when you have a star for 3 or more consecutive seasons.

Truth is only loyal GMs have been Mavs, Warriors, Blazers and Lakers. Clippers were loyal to Griffin and Jordan but they traded away Paul. This is kind of faulty since you're only considering teams that started with superstars. There have been a lot of GMs who have kept their stars for many years. SAC (Westbrook, Lillard), CHI (Paul, Noah) and MIL (Davis, Drummond) come to mind. I also have no real thoughts of trading Harden, George, or Irving and even Lopez without a really good offer. There are some lesser examples too like with Blake Bowman and Jonas Valanciunas, much to my disappointment. Quit hating Bowie.

Alright, I will stop but I am not hating. I was mentioning teams that stayed loyal to original big stars because we were talking about the Heat with Lebron, Wade and Bosh. Of course that what you are saying is right but that is not what I meant. I edited my original post to make my point clear. Just trying to create conversation with my latest posts.
