2 things:
1) I was shocked to see Pacers releasing Jose Calderon but hey, they are winning!
2) I believe these series would have a different result if Jimmy Butler had a proper rating. I believe he is worth more than a 83 rating. But Bulls GM is the only one to blame for that because he did not ask for Butler's rating to go.

For my side. I released Calderon because his salary worked the best for releasing. I had a glut of point guards and no bench bigs. With his release, I also brought in a 7 footer and a PF.

Damn this is a great series. Indy is definitely a dark horse to win it all but Chicago comes back hard.

Thanks for the compliment Adam. This Bulls team is full of grit and determination, though. Losing two at home, but then bouncing back hugely and taking the next two.

Linsanity will be the starter in Game 6. I don't think this was the best option. You guys helped him keep it close. My opinion was to play the players by position by rating and his favorite player Barea as 6th man and so on down the depth chart by rating. Good series either way!

Post game conference:
Question for Sir Larry Bird:
Why did you decide to bench Andrew Bogut? What was it that you did't like from his previous displays?
Also, It looked like you had some blind faith in Jose Barea. Why was that?
Thanks for your time and good luck for next season!

Haha Sam, your statement regarding Bogut is funny. How do I, you, or anyone know how he produced in those first two games because we can't see the playoff stats until the end of the round. Blind faith in Barea... No, it's called a season long worth of results. Barea, West, and Gallinari have been my best players throughout the year. Mayo was a good player for me at the end of the season. I had to find some way to get each of them on the court for the majority of the time.

Yes, You are right. About the series, no matter what I think about benching Bogut, starting Barea and releasing Calderon fact is you kept it really close until the end and that is something to respect. And you did it without a Chris Paul in your team.
