If Miami doesn't win a ring does he leave in the offseason?
Where does he go? Who can realistically sign him?

This is when Rule 6 comes into play - player personality! But does Lebron's personality only lead him to Cleveland? Because it's not like the Cavs have any other assets to put around him like they did in real life.

I think it's pretty much a given that LeBron James at least stays in the East. If in real life Cleveland was in the west he wouldn't of went back there.

Only team that could realistically go after Lebron other than Heat is Milwaukee.

IMO based on Lebron's perceived real personality I don't think he would have any interest in going to any team in the West in D5 at this point given how competitive it is. Before he signed in Miami and back in Cleveland IRL, several teams from the West pursued him but he obviously chose to stay in the East IRL. He would have an easier potential path to the Finals by staying the East. Lebron would most likely only want to go to a team that is either ready to win right now, or has several really talented young pieces that are a year or two away from being ready to compete with the best in the league.
IRL Lebron did not like being the villain and the opportunity to return home to an already pretty loaded Cleveland team was to good of an opportunity to pass up taking every factor into consideration. If Cleveland didn't have a talented roster IMO he doesn't return home. With that in mind IMO here are the possible destinations for Lebron in D5 if he chose to opt after this year, which I don't think should be a given that he will even opt out after this year.
Miami Heat Brooklyn Nets Milwaukee Bucks Charlotte Hornets (If they could move a few contracts to clear more cap space)
And honestly given the Heat's recent roster moves I don't see why he would leave Miami in D5. Hes got Deron Williams who at this point would be a pass 1st PG, Gortat manning the middle, and I don't see Wade leaving any time soon. Money wouldn't be an issue given Miami has his Bird Rights.
Glad I will not have any dog in this fight regardless of what happens!

I'm not sure what you're all on about. Lebron will take the mid-level exception to sign with the Nuggets.

I wanna go on record that he's going to the Kings again. Lillard Westbrook Marc Gasol and lbj is automatic championship

I wanna go on record that he's going to the Kings again. Lillard Westbrook Marc Gasol and lbj is automatic championship Could be a possibility, but its not a given Gasol even returns to Sacramento given that they don't have his Bird Rights. Not that Bird Rights guarantees a player to return, but it obviously does allow the ability to offer a bigger contract. I know Vlade will think Im saying this because I don't want Lebron in the same division but I honestly don't see why he would leave Miami in D5 in the 1st place. Marcin Gortat Jeff Green Lebron James Dwyane Wade Deron Williams Andre Iguodala Those six players are a pretty good core. Even if Williams and Iggy got their ratings lowered again, still a pretty good six. Now Miami's salaries would be through the roof, but that discussion is in another thread! IMO Milwaukee would be a more attractive spot for LBJ if he were to leave Andre Drummond Anthony Davis Lebron James Bradley Beal Jrue Holiday That would be an unbelievable defensive team

Bucks is the only team that can get Lebron other than Heat at this point. Without releasing any of their current players, Bucks will have more that $20M in cap space for next off-season. Moreover, they have a younger core and they currently hold a better season record than Heat. Put it that way, Bucks sound like a no brainer for Lebron.

I think he stays in Miami. With his real life personality, it wasn't about winning, it was about returning home or staying with his bro's. It was always a Cleveland vs Miami dog fight for LeBron, of course every other team out there offered him the max, because why wouldn't they? But he only really thought about 2 teams.
I don't think Cleveland has the young assets, but they have the cap space to put another 20m free agent around LeBron. But the key piece they're missing that they had in real life was that 3rd star in Kyrie.
I am also kind of upset no one mentioned Houston, we have young talent and we have 2 superstars. plus 20 million in cap space.

He will not go anywhere, i really think he will not chase another championship with Milwaukee because if he does he will be a villain in the league which he doesn't like and his name will not be a legit best player in the history if he will chase down championships with 3 teams on his belt. Milwaukee is also a small market team and he is not going to the western conference.

He's going to sign with phx to play with Dan. Dan doesn´t post because Lebron asked him to keep a low profile till off-season.

Is Josh still a player agent? If so, I don't think he should be commenting on where players end up.
