the nba live 06 game and live 15 are completely different code and not even the same console generation. some ratings will translate but the ratings definitely dont do the same things

Take a look at the Rookies they highlighted there. Almost exactly what we had! We set out to make a rookie class the way NBA Live would, looks like we were on an extremely similar path.

hey whiteside is a 78 in this Looks like he was voted to a 74 or something, if I remember right, in our stock watch. BTW, I bet it would have been higher if no one would have started the thread so early.

I think having multiple looks at ratings for our players is good for the league. It also gives those that need an idea--something to base their ratings off of. I have said it before and I'll say it many more times...we need a rating system or something to base our ratings off of. We used to go by what NBA live posted. I would rather go off of one opinion than that of multiple opinions. I am sure we think we know our players. I also believe guys that rate players have more experience in rating guys. We base of current season and stats. These guys go off of how much talent a player has. A player can be talented and deserve a higher rating when not even a starter or when getting minimum mins. When we vote we don't go by that at all. If we do not see a guy play..we don't know a true rating..Or a close correct rating. There are many players that are not playing or given the minutes because of the coach of their team they are currently playing for. It does not mean they are not good or should not play or be rated higher. Some teams are rebuilding..some use their vet players..some change it up game to game. With us it's about what we see and stats and current production. I know NBA live 2015 ratings above are off some. Some guys that are having a breakout year or playing their contract year..so they are standing out. I just think we need to at least eventually come up with a system. One that denotes how we rate players and how many times we can adjust a rating. We need to base ratings off a rebuilding team vs a playoff team..we need to rate off of current talent but as well as the last year of play and we need to determine why the increase and if it will continue based off contract, injuries to players being replaced, and guys that have just improved. I like that we rate and take averages to base our rating but we should also base their rating close to that off other leagues or forums. We want things to be real. Example...LBJ should not be a 99. Why Should he be? We need to decrease those that need it..increase those that need it and deserve it and have proved they deserve it... We need a base rating system. One based of playing time, current team and position. Sometimes a player just sits behind a player but is just as good or close. Ex: Draymond Green is younger and good and working well at this time but David Lee is still the better player. One season does not prove anything. Plus his team is winning and it's a contract year. You can't tell me we should honestly lower Lee and increase Green by that much. I'm sure GS May resign him but what if he leaves and goes to a team that he doesn't mesh with or that the coach doesn't play him in the rotation. Ex: Lance Stephenson...overrated last season but look at him now. Then you have Rondo..and guys like him that just don't fit a system. It happens. But if we raise a guy to much to fast or decrease a guy to much...how often are We going to adjust their rating...twice a season...once....three times..... I just think we all have opinions and we all don't know how good every player is. But we have some gms that get in and rate players and some that don't care or take the league serious even if they think different and they don't vote. We have some gms that rate to increase guys they like or that they may want to go after. We have some that just hate some players Because of multiple reasons so the rate low. We have gms That rate players and even bring up a rating post just because it helps their team somehow. I could go on and on but We just need to have a system and decide how to adjust the ratings and when. Its been fun but when we are caught up and we decide how many times to adjust the ratings..things will be better. Then we don't have gms ratings for obvious reasons. There will be no reason for gms to post for increases and decreases until its time. Just my thoughts. Don't read or like what I wrote but its how I feel. It will eventually work out fairly because this is the best so league around.
