It's sort of impossible to know why this has happened to the Celtics. I guess I'm trying to look for things that have changed this year: 1) Horford, Tatum, Jaylen, Rozier and Brad Stevens took the Celtics to the 7th Game of the ECFs last season without Kyrie and Hayward, so maybe they're pissed off at having to share the spotlight and playing time with them? 2) Anthony Davis trade talks have certainly shaken things up in both LAL and BOS. Maybe, with many of the guys who played alongside Isaiah Thomas still on the team, there's extra uncertainty about their futures and maybe even resentment that Kyrie seems to be complaining about his position - which is something IT would never have done. Maybe Danny Ainge should learn a thing from the Ian Noble Playbook of not trading away your core players I really admire Jaylen's attitude. He should clearly be starting for them now he's overcome the early-season hand injury that hampered him.
