I accept, because hard cap. I don't really want to trade Lopez, I believe he's still a good player, even with his role change to basically a 7 foot tall Kyle Korver. If you look at my starters though, he's clearly the odd man out, and I'm in a position where I have to make moves. I think I sent a Brook Lopez offer to 19-20 teams in D5, so it's good to have these marathon negotiations over. I can move on to other things I need to do.EDITED TO COMBINE WITH PACERS TRADE I accept. I dare you all to tell me I'm not giving up enough now that we see the full picture

I think you guys are actually $41,196 away from the 125% Rule working on this deal?
edit: interesting trade though! It's amazing to see the first trade of a good player that's directly due to the incoming hard cap.

It's amazing to see the first trade of a good player that's directly due to the incoming hard cap. Oh yeah, I should have elaborated on this when posted. This needs the full details of the 125% rule which is that teams can take on up to 125% + 100k of outgoing salaries. That +100k makes the difference in this deal. I know we've done this before in D5, here is one example I found of Walt using this detail: dynasty5ive.proboards.com/thread/7253/okc-min-trade

Now Hanamichi is even helping other GMs trade away their recently signed free agents. Does this man’s treachery truly know no bounds? When will the madness stop?

Surprised a future 1st rounder wasn’t attached to Lopez considering it’s a five year deal at $18 MM per and he’s had a history of foot problems, but to Ian Noble’s point the hard cap is beginning to close in. I get he’s the best guy in this deal, but that is a lot of money for a new age Channing Frye

I feel like if this trade goes through, Alex puts up the thread to raise Dedmon to an 80 sooooooooooooo fast. And he might even deserve it.
So, he gets similar/better player, sheds 9M next year, and sheds 18M for each of 3 years after that. Really not paying very much IMO.
Not sure it's in reject realm but Alex consistently gets the better of trades. Hanamichi could have held him over the coals but it looks reversed here.
Also, can someone tell me if Hana would have BR's on Dedmon? He's really a solid player. Don't like this much for Cleveland rn.

Can the TC treat this like the Motley FA signing and decline it based on the fact that Alex is attempting to do something?

I want a shot at Siakam. Reject.
Lots of names but Hard cap in mind, nothing particularly bad. Accept.

Even if Alex trades his entire roster except for CP3/Harden/Harris/Aldridge, he doesn’t have enough space to give Siakam a max under the hard cap.
This trade is a bandaid, and a pretty good one since Alex gets the best player in the deal (IMO) in Cauley-Stein. But the wound still festers.

There's a lot going on in this trade but none of it is extreme enough to reject.

Trying to win a championship and clear salary at the same time is a balancing act. This trade isn't a bandaid, it's just step 1

Don't think I've ever seen Larry completely waffle stomp a trade before. Good job.
Seems kinda dumb for Hana but whatever.
Dumb for Alex but cap shit so what's he gonna do?

Can Denver trade their 2019 1st since they traded their 2018 1st for Tobias Harris? I think since that pick was already made, and provided he has his 2020 1st, there’d be no issue in trading the 2019 1st
