Accepted by Spurs. We open the season with three players already on the injured list, and several other players (Derrick Rose, Danny Green) who have a track record for being injured at least once a year. Being at the minimum of 10 active players, this deal allows us to acquire two guys in JR and Whitehead to provide some active depth at the cost of just Dengs contract and MCW. Picking up a 2019 2nd round pick in the process as a rebuilding organization is an added bonus, and this deal doesn’t harm our long term cap health, as JR Smith and Jenkins will be expiring deals along with Fancy Boy Parsons after the 2019-20 season.
