Sunday Podcast (GM Interview)Finished Podcast:
This Sunday I've arranged to host a podcast in which I'll be one-on-one interviewing Brian Scalabrine! I'm interested to hear his thoughts on his team and his tenure as GM of the Pelicans. Other GMs can listen along either live or afterwards, but this time it'll just be a Q&A session with hopefully more structure than our usual free-for-all podcasts that can ramble on a bit. If anyone has any questions they'd like to throw into the mix, post a reply here!

Ooh do me, do me! I look forward to listening to Brian's interview. Yeah I'd be interested to see how this one goes, and maybe turning into it a more regular thing.

Ian Noble I'm tuned in - what's Brian's plan to pitch to Hayward? Given that he recently left a semi-competitive team in Utah to compete with the Celtics

Great point about Utah's failure to offer him the max

Ian Noble Another Q and sorry if it was already asked I'm not sure but I think I missed the first 10 minutes. Based on summer league and preseason and the season so far, who are you more excited about Trae or JJJ?

Thanks for your questions James Kay! And thanks to Brian Scalabrine for being a great interviewee! Hopefully we'll do some more of these in the future

Great podcast guys, really quality stuff. I enjoyed the 1 on 1 format a lot, it’s a nice change from some of the 5 person podcasts. Looking forward to more!

I liked this more than a lot of the group podcasts. Having a central topic of one team is cool, better than the randomness of a big group. I'd also like to point out this quote from Hayward's players tribune article: If you could please note that Brad Stevens is the head coach of the Denver Nuggets and he has been for literally years. I think he could be the best coach in the NBA, at least top 2, and is the only guy I think can be put on the same level as Gregg Popovich. So with that connection it's clear that Hayward is signing with the Nuggets next offseason.

Very cool interview Ian Noble and Brian Scalabrine . I really enjoyed the 1 on 1 format as some others have already mentioned. I will also definitely be striving to join that group of Elite D5 GM's over the next few seasons.
