OKC Trades: 75 Chandler Parsons ($23,249,727; $25,807,196) 72 Arron Afflalo ($14,224,917; $14,856,070 (TO))
Total outgoing from OKC: $38,474,644
Cap percentage rule for OKC: 101%
New overall salaries for OKC: $128,476,594
FOR
SAS Trades: 81 Serge Ibaka ($25,000,000; $24,000,000) 76 Tyson Chandler ($13,000,000)
Total outgoing from SAS: $38,000,000
Cap percentage rule for SAS: 99%
New overall salaries for SAS: $103,262,973
Accepted by the Spurs. This trade looks bad on paper, but there’s two reasons I make this move: Number 1, I’m trying to ensure for both the 2019 and 2020 drafts I maximize to the best of my ability the chances at securing a high draft pick for more blue chip talent, and Number 2, this deal still maintains the cap flexibility I’d gain over the next two seasons from Ibaka and Chandler had they stayed on my team. However, Parsons and Afflalo help increase the chances my team will be in the bottom four teams league wide, as neither guy has been very healthy the last few years, and Ibaka and Chandler were not in the long term picture beyond their contracts for my squad. This also allows me to roll out a lineup that should feature three rookies for the most part and get them the playing time over some veterans who were not in the long term plans for our team.

I don’t really get this for SAS. Why trade Ibaka for Parsons? Surely you could get an expiring or a 2nd for Ibaka

Are you serious? He wants to tank. This trade gets him tank and I gain barely anything. Ibaka will be lowered, we all know it and chandler is nothing. To me, there is not enough to reject by any means in means of what each team is trying to do. How does this impact the league at all? He gets to tank a little bit more and I get a 78 coming this season.

I don't think it's enough to reject I was just surprised that he had so little value.

Being a raptor fan, I can be a little bias when it comes to the Raptors. If the RL raptors made this trade, I'm pretty sure the city of Toronto would go a bit nuts lol. Serge is definitely not the same player he was but he can still be an effective player. To me, he still has value.
I also get Geroge is trying to rebuild next year and he feels Ibaka would hurt his chances of losing. Parsons will definitely help his team lose more games than Ibaka.
Geroge has made some decent deals so far replacing JR so I have faith his plans will work.
I accept

Serge's contract may counter his performance value down to about a net neutral, but Parsons is a HUGE negative. Not even a 2nd rounder? I'm not sure that would change my vote but this is bad imo. Still a reject for me.

The contract of ibaka does hurt his value as you mentioned as well but I’d imagine he tried his best to offer ibaka around the league and others we’re probably giving him worse contracts to get ibaka.

I accept
The Spurs could get more for Ibaka though. If he was my player I'd be shopping him for longer. But this trade doesn't significantly harm the Spurs, and if they're tanking it is in-line with their strategy even if they could've got more.

I think there’s one more vote needed for this one— I know this is not the world’s greatest trade on paper, and Parsons is an albatross, but when I’m trying to ensure bottoming out the best I can, I can’t get much better “value” to do that than having Rose already on my team and adding Parsons to that.

So I think this is good to go, Ian Noble. 3:1 on Accept vs. Reject, with an accept from both myself and Kevin Hollis not included in that 3:1 count.
